Alright, since you already have the .MOD files exported this should be fairly easy.

.MOD Files
--- - --- - ---

For a basic track there are only 3 objects.
---
1.] Track Surface
2.] Infield
3.] Outfield

Now keep this in mind, this is a basic track.
Note: If this is your first track you have created; the first one that you will have successfully made a .trk file for, it's easier todo the "basic objects" only. That's It!

EXPORTING .MOD Files
--- - --- - ---

Note: Before you start exporting objects in 3D Studio Max v3.1, save your TRK.MAX file. If you don't do this, you will regret it! That's a promise. LOL

We are going to start with the first object first. If you scroll up abit, you'll see the object list.
---

1.] Start-Up 3D Studio Max v3.1; open your TRK.MAX file.
2.] Select your Track Surface (what you'll be racing on)
3.] Now, on the center of the main-toolbar you'll find a button that says "Select by Name" Click It!
4.] On the "Select by Name" screen, you'll see a button that says "INVERT" (it's on the bottom right) Click It!
5.] What that did, was selected everything on your TRK.MAX file, except your track surface.
6.] Back-out of the "Select by Name" screen, and navigate to the EDIT button ontop of the 3DSMAX Program. Once you found it, select delete.
7.] That should have deleted everything, except your track surface - Which is correct!
8.] Now goto the FILE button, and select EXPORT. Export as TRACK.MOD
9.] Well, that is about it. You need todo the same steps as above for the Infield, and Outfield. Make sure to always delete everything, other than the object that you want to export. If you try to export 2 objects in one .MOD file, MKFLT will not work!!!
---

Note: This process works for ALL objects that make a track complete, including the grandstands, wall, fence, light poles, lights that glow, track-side objects, alpha images, etc.

If you have any questions, or just need some more help - please feel free to leave a reply.
